The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Norman is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Jab, jab by Norman - just one landing.
A lazy left from Syrowatka finds it's target.
Syrowatka moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Norman scores with a leg kick.
A bone on bone clash there as Syrowatka blocks the leg kick.
Norman attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Norman cracks the inside of Syrowatka's front leg.
Norman goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Norman scores with a sloppy right hand. Syrowatka should have avoided that one.
Norman slips under a jab.
Greg Norman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Norman counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Norman connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Syrowatka's hands.
Norman throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Syrowatka.

and Norman counters with a body kick that stops Syrowatka in his tracks momentarily.
Syrowatka misses with a left hand
and Norman makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Norman connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Norman fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Syrowatka.

and Norman counters with an outside leg kick.
A thudding body kick lands there by Norman!

Norman lands with an uppercut that bounces Syrowatka off the cage and back into range.
Syrowatka takes a jab right on the kisser.

Norman lands a head shot.
Syrowatka chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Norman can pounce on him.
Syrowatka throws a looping overhand right but Norman ducks down to avoid it.
A shot to the body from Syrowatka misses
and Norman counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Norman fakes the leg kick and cracks Syrowatka in the body.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Norman, right into the meat.
Norman swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A quick step to the side and Syrowatka tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Syrowatka throws a combination that misses
and Norman counters with a good, hard body kick but Syrowatka shrugs it off.
Syrowatka is breathing heavily.
Syrowatka gets cracked there but stands up to it.
A jab from Norman does it's job there.


Syrowatka is rocked!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Norman knocks Syrowatka out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
