Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Roberto Williams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Test Five! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Five misses with a shot to the body and Williams counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Test Five has been cut. Williams scores with a jab to the head.
Five tries to keep at a distance but Williams has taken the fight into the clinch. Williams breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Williams scores with a nice strike. Williams has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Jako Gym in the buildup to the fight. The fighters circling - Five throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Five misses the body punch and Williams counters with a lovely straight right hand! Five throws a lazy right hand but Williams sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Five works Williams's body with a nice hook. Williams moves away from the strike by Five. Williams bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Five looks winded! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Williams throws a leg kick which misses Five's front leg but catches the back leg as Five tries to avoid it. Williams lands a left and a right that send Five crashing to the mat, dazed. Williams thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Williams looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Williams backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Five's temple! It sends Five violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Williams celebrates and the doctors try to help Five!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Roberto Williams! Roberto Williams very nearly forgot to thank Pit Bull Development amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
