Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bart Snow! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ken Masters! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yukihiro Shimada and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Masters misses with a takedown attempt - Snow sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Masters with a poor takedown and Snow moves into the clinch. Masters scores a nice knee to the body.
Snow successfully pulls guard.
Snow working a defensive guard but Masters passes into half guard.
Still in half guard, Masters seems content to control. Snow is looking for a sweep. Masters is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Snow wants to get back to his feet.
Snow throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Masters moves into full mount! Snow won't be happy about that! Masters unloads with some shots from mount but Snow bucks and avoids them well.
Snow is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Masters throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Snow defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Masters. Masters controlling from mount. Snow is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Snow is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Snow is looking to get to half guard. Masters swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Snow is now in Masters's guard. A big mistake from Masters there, giving up the dominant position! Masters manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Masters goes for a takedown attempt but Snow pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Bart Snow has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ken Masters. Snow misses with a looping left. Ken Masters seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Masters closes the distance and pushes Snow back into the cage. Snow tries to pull guard but Masters holds him up against the cage and eventually Snow drops back down to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Masters lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Snow breaks the clinch.
Masters rushes Snow and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Masters manages to pull guard.
Masters looking to hit a scissor sweep but Snow is one step ahead there. Masters has a closed guard, preventing Snow from standing up. Masters has his feet on Snow's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Bart Snow is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Masters will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Masters fails to land the takedown. Masters dives in and grabs Snow's left leg, looking for a takedown. Snow pushes down on Masters's head and hops out. Masters swings for the body but Snow moves out of range.
Masters misses with a wild body shot. Snow tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Masters paws at him with a jab and circles away. Masters is looking for the big counter here. Masters gets a clinch. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Snow pulls Masters into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Snow throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ken Masters dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Snow moves into range and clinches up with Masters. Snow gets control of Masters's arms and successfully pulls guard. Snow will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Snow keeping moving, preventing Masters from controlling successfully. Masters trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Masters stays in close to Snow's body and controls the position. Snow working for a triangle but Masters defends it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Masters throws a strike but Snow rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's one minute gone in the round. Masters is pulling down on Snow's head. It's preventing any offense from Snow, at least for the moment. Snow wants to get up but he can't break Masters's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Masters trying to control the position.
Masters has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Snow off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Masters connects with a jab. Masters has taken the fight to the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Snow is trying to pull guard but Masters turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Masters jumps guard but Snow stands there with Masters around his waist. Masters gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Masters escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Snow has closed the distance and engaged Masters in a clinch.
Masters has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Masters lands a knee to the body.
Snow tries to circle away but Masters has him pinned against the cage. Snow could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Snow wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Masters is working for takedown but Snow is calmly controlling the position for now. Masters is trying to pull guard but Snow has him pressed against the cage. Bart Snow has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ken Masters. Masters is struggling to control the position. Snow is trying to stall.
Masters jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Snow walks away with a smile on his face. Masters gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Snow instigates a clinch. Snow is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Masters to keep the fight standing. Masters's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. No luck with that takedown attempt from Masters. Nice sprawl there from Snow as Masters shoots in. Masters closes the distance and clinches. Snow has had enough of the clinch but Masters keeps him there for the moment. Snow wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Snow tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Masters smiles and moves away.

Snow wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Masters has him pressed against the cage. Masters lands with a short head shot on the inside. Masters's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Masters looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Snow is fending him off so far but Masters persists. Nope, Snow circles away and we're back to standing. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Snow goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Bart Snow is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Masters darts in and clinches Snow up against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ken Masters showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Masters tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Snow defends well and Masters ends up having to push Snow into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Snow throws a big counter combination but Masters scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Masters shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Snow pinned against the cage. Snow gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Snow appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Bart Snow has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. The fight stays on the outside here - Snow looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Masters tries to score a power double leg takedown but Snow sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Masters somewhat. Masters just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromSnow.

Masters dives in and grabs Snow's left leg, looking for a takedown. Snow pushes down on Masters's head and hops out. Snow appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Snow misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

As Masters tries to get set, Snow tries to push him back and clinch up but Masters manages to avoid the attempt. Masters gets in close and instigates a clinch. Snow looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Masters utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.

Masters looks for a takedown but Snow sprawls well. Masters closes the distance and clinches. Snow wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Masters has him pressed against the cage. Masters jumps guard and drags Snow to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Masters looking to control.
Masters pushes Snow off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Bart Snow has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ken Masters is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Masters shoots for a double leg takedown but Snow sprawls well. He's pushed Masters's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Snow tries to counter with a takedown but Masters is quick to defend against it.
And that's the end of the fight! Ken Masters comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Masters winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
