PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shoei Braz (ranked 965 p4p, 148 weight class) and Just Whymer (ranked 278 p4p, 37 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking cross lands there for Whymer.

It looks like Shoei Braz has been cut.
Braz shoots in and drives through. Whymer sprawls well.

Braz closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Whymer's guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Whymer can do anything to dispel that myth.

Braz throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Whymer's waist but Whymer gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Braz off to one side.
