Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Skeng Man (ranked 1120 p4p, 159 weight class) and Mace Blackblood (ranked 682 p4p, 98 weight class). Blackblood has chosen Gorgoroth Open the Gates as his entrance music. Mace Blackblood has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Man moves into the clinch.
Blackblood gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Man.
Blackblood lands with a light punch inside.
Man has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Blackblood avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Man can't get the takedown.

Man tries to pull guard but Blackblood holds him up against the cage and eventually Man drops back down to his feet.

Blackblood got a little sloppy there for a moment and Man has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Blackblood has managed to get both his arms back between Man's legs - danger averted.

Man has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Man there as he acknowledges the shot.
Horrible takedown attempt by Man or perhaps it was just good defense by Blackblood, which made it look bad.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Blackblood, as that shot connected.

Blackblood has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Blackblood steps into range and cracks Man with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Man flops backwards and Blackblood dives into his guard looking to finish!
Oh Man is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Blackblood postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Man covers up, he's hurt! Blackblood keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Blackblood and the ref steps in to end the fight! Blackblood can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
