Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Oka Sog (ranked 4065 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will Star (ranked 5254 p4p, 466 weight class). Will Star will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sog slips a jab and a cross from Star.
A counter left hand to the body from Sog misses its target.

Sog shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Star napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Star is trying to improve his position.
Star can't do much from the bottom here.
Star manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Star makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Star.
Sog has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Star has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Star wants to control but Sog passes easily into half guard.

Sog is nestled in close to Star, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Star goes for a double leg but Sog avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Sog continues to drive forward.

Star bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Sog sneaks out the side door and pushes Star away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Star closes the distance and clinches up with Sog, looking for a takedown. Star pushes Sog against the cage but Sog circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Star gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Sog to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Star throws a lazy head kick
and Sog counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Sog closes the distance and clinches up with Star, looking for a takedown. Sog pushes Star against the cage but Star circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Sog shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Star manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
