That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! MacGowan crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Partio - the referee stops the clock and MacGowan gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Partio. MacGowan manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Partio walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. MacGowan checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Partio! But no joy.

MacGowan closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. MacGowan connects with a nice short shot to Partio's temple.

MacGowan ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. MacGowan no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

MacGowan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Oh MacGowan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Crunch! Partio slams his shin into MacGowan's torso.
