Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ken Miller (ranked 2030 p4p, 103 weight class) and Freddie Zamora (ranked 2924 p4p, 135 weight class). Miller comes to the ring accompanied by 2pac - Im A Souljah. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ken Miller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Freddie Zamora! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zamora misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Zamora fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Miller to the ground. Zamora is now in Miller's guard. Zamora won't allow Miller to sweep him here. Miller is working hard here to advance position. Zamora loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Miller looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Zamora postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Miller has his foot on Zamora's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Zamora works his way back into a safe position though. Zamora working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Zamora throws a big right hand that misses. Miller utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Miller had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Zamora defends it easily. Zamora thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Zamora slips nicely into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller has hold of Zamora's hands but Zamora slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Zamora thows a huge punch but Miller dodges it nicely.
Zamora thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Miller's head. Miller is looking to improve his position.
Zamora working Miller over with strikes. Zamora seems to be working for a kimura but Miller defends the submission attempt. Miller is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Zamora's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Zamora's back! You can see the frustration on Zamora's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Miller working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Miller softening up his opponent with strikes here.

Zamora breaks Miller's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Zamora lands a couple of elbows. Zamora missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Miller wants to sweep here but Zamora controlling him for the moment. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Miller is on top in guard.

A close round but Freddie Zamora will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Miller looks for a takedown but Zamora sprawls well. Some wild striking there from Miller.
Zamora scores with a jab. Miller acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Zamora has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Miller is landing a low percentage of strikes. Zamora tries to clinch there but Miller circles away.
Zamora misses with a takedown and Miller counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Miller circles away from the clinch attempt and Miller counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Zamora throws a jab but it's blocked by Miller. Ken Miller is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Zamora lands with a shot to the body. Miller tries to bum rush Zamora with a series of wild strikes but Zamora uses good footwork to avoid the assault. And Zamora tries to counter it with a takedown but Miller pushes his down on his head and steps out. Freddie Zamora seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Zamora shoots and misses and Miller counters with a stiff right hand. Miller rushes Zamora and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zamora wants the takedown. Miller is fighting it off but Zamora persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Miller's guard against the ropes. Miller working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Zamora. Zamora throws a strike but Miller rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Zamora is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Miller defends well. Zamora escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Miller gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Miller wants to control from the top but Zamora keeps moving. Miller with a nice head shot there. Zamora working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Miller doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Miller manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Miller slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Miller working the body and head with strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller working the ground and pound from side control. Zamora tries to get back to half guard but can't. Zamora takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. This has been an exciting period of action! Zamora is trying to get back to half guard. Zamora is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Miller in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Miller lands a nice forearm strike. Zamora is looking to reverse the position. Miller wants to control but Zamora is keeping him busy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ken Miller dominated that second round. That's time! Miller's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Miller is working Zamora over against the ropes. Miller lands a hook that snaps the head of Zamora backwards. Zamora is the more experienced fighter here and he's going to need to draw on some of that experience if he's going to pull this one out the bag. Zamora misses with a punch on the inside.

Miller is trying to pull guard but Zamora turns him against the ropes and we stay in the clinch. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Miller. Still in the clinch, Zamora scores with a nice short uppercut. Zamora misses with a hook to the ribs.
Zamora has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Miller regains guard immediately. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Zamora drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Miller dives on top into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zamora has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Miller can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Miller scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Miller connects with a couple of short punches. Zamora is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Zamora is rocked! Miller wants to control from the top but Zamora keeps moving. Zamora is still in real trouble! Can Miller finish him? Miller slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Zamora tries to get back to half guard but can't. Zamora is working to avoid the ground and pound but Miller connects with a decent elbow. Miller is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Zamora's shoulder. That is not cool. Miller in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Miller works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Miller cracks Zamora with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Miller immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Zamora is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Miller!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ken Miller! Ken Miller was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
