1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Peter Martin! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Milan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Martin looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Milan closes the distance and pushes Martin back into the cage. Milan landing some nice looking knees to the body.

Milan moves into the clinch. Milan lands a nice shot to the body. Milan effectively controlling the action here. The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Milan for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure. Milan lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Milan will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Martin up against the cage. Martin tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Milan smiles and moves away.
Milan fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Martin, pushing him back against the cage. Martin tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Martin has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Milan is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Milan manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Milan lands a nice knee to the body. Milan makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Milan is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Martin jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Milan walks away with a smile on his face. Martin gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Martin tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Milan swivels and escapes. Martin drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Martin wants to control but Milan is keeping him busy. Milan manages to get back to half guard. Martin trying to mount his opponent but Milan defends it. Milan gets back to full guard.
Milan bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Martin's guard. Martin trying to keep a closed guard but Milan is proving a slippery customer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Milan scoring with some ground and pound. Milan wants to control from the top but Martin keeps moving. Martin wants to sweep but no luck. Milan stands and throws Martin's legs to the side, diving into side control. Martin trying his best to control but Milan has mounted him. Martin is desperately trying to improve his position but Milan has a good base and remains in mount. Milan takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Martin is trying to escape the mount.

That's one minute gone in the round. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by George Milan. Martin closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Milan manages to get back to half guard. Martin throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Milan is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Milan works his way to full guard. Good work. Milan is trying to keep Martin in close.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Milan keeping moving, preventing Martin from controlling successfully. Martin looking to sit in guard and control but Milan gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Martin can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Milan controls the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Milan looking to pass the guard. Milan throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Martin works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Milan loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Milan trying to control the position from guard on top but Martin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Milan fails in his attempt to clinch. Martin misses with a takedown and Milan counters with a flying knee. Nice. George Milan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Milan bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Milan throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Martin's head. Milan keeps Martin at a distance using the push kick. Peter Martin has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Milan explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Martin has his takedown stuffed and Milan counters with a good low kick that Martin was not able to check.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Milan lands a lovely overhand right. Milan is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Martin can do to turn this around? Martin takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Horrible takedown by Martin or perhaps it was just good defense by Milan which made him look bad. George Milan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Peter Martin. Milan avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Milan - that will leave a mark!

Milan lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Martin. Martin is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Milan pulls him back up using the underhooks. Martin fails to pull guard.

Martin turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Martin manages to end up in side control. Milan manages to get back to half guard. Martin throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Milan regains full guard. Nicely done. Milan lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Martin! Martin sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Milan is trying to control the action in half guard but Martin is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. George Milan is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Martin is looking for a sweep. Milan is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
And that's the end of the fight! George Milan showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Milan, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
