Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rocket Bob Frankels (ranked 59 p4p, 2 weight class) and John Smith (ranked 160 p4p, 7 weight class). Frankels comes to the cage accompanied by Dawn....Summer Solstice... . Smith is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Song 2. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith throws a combination that misses
and Frankels counters with a nice low kick that buckles Smith's knee momentarily.
Frankels blocks a jab.
Smith moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
It looks like Rocket Bob Frankels has been cut.
A head kick by Smith misses
and Frankels counters with a straight right hand.
Smith lands a big head kick that sends Frankels tumbling to the mat! Smith takes a step backwards and waves Frankels back to his feet - he wants the finish!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Smith tries a head kick but it misses.
Smith sends Frankels crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Smith is motioning to the referee to let Frankels up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Frankels is rocked!
Smith measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Frankels! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). John Smith!
John Smith is the new super heavyweight champion!
After winning the bout, John Smith thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
