Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lee Brown (ranked 3677 p4p, 423 weight class) and Huwan Bagwis (ranked 6823 p4p, 562 weight class). Brown comes to the cage accompanied by Seventh nation army . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lee Brown! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Huwan Bagwis! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Wagner Zegers and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brown moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
It looks like Lee Brown has been cut. Brown shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bagwis pinned against the cage. Bagwis gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Bagwis swings away with a body shot that misses
and Brown decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bagwis's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Brown scoring with some ground and pound. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Brown's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Bagwis is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Brown stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bagwis swivels though and keeps the full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bagwis utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Bagwis pulls Brown in close to prevent any damage. Brown stands up over Bagwis, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brown trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Brown is looking to work some ground and pound but Bagwis has wrist control. Brown loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Brown trying to control the position from guard on top but Bagwis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Brown with a flurry of punches that miss. Bagwis is looking to stand up but Brown isn't so interested in that idea. Brown throws an elbow that misses. Bagwis uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Brown's guard. Nice move by Bagwis!
Bagwis got a little sloppy there for a moment and Brown has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bagwis has managed to get both his arms back between Brown's legs - danger averted.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bagwis wants to control from the top but Brown keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bagwis is stalling in the full guard. Bagwis is pushing down on Brown's leg trying to pass to half guard. Brown is fighting to maintain full guard but Bagwis has managed to sneak the leg through. Brown actively working from the bottom here. Bagwis sitting and controlling from the half guard. Brown is trying to get back to full guard. Bagwis not doing much here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bagwis's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. The fighters are battling for position here. Brown manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Bagwis is looking to stand up but Brown won't let him. Bagwis controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Brown working for a triangle but Bagwis defends it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Brown looking for a guillotine here but Bagwis defends easily.
Bagwis slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Bagwis is looking to stand up but Brown won't let him.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Brown swats away the attempt to clinch by Bagwis. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bagwis's jab looks to have found its range, popping Brown under the eye. Bagwis lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Huwan Bagwis will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Lee Brown's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

That's one minute gone in the round. Bagwis keeping moving, preventing Brown from controlling successfully. Bagwis is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Brown is controlling him.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Huwan Bagwis is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Brown looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Bagwis wants to get back to his feet. Brown sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Bagwis defending well though. Bagwis wants to get back to his feet. Brown stalling away here and it's allowed Bagwis to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bagwis working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Brown. Brown throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bagwis works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Brown wants to control from the top but Bagwis keeps moving. Brown throws a big elbow that misses. Brown postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Bagwis is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Brown is controlling him. Bagwis working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Brown. Bagwis avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Brown trying to control but Bagwis is working from the bottom.

That's three minutes gone in the round. A chopping leg kick lands by Bagwis. Bagwis dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Brown. That did some damage! Brown tries to clinch up. Brown takes one on the button. Bagwis lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Brown at a distance.
Brown looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Bagwis turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Bagwis cracks Brown with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Brown fails to land the takedown.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bagwis is looking to clinch. Brown was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Brown changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bagwis looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bagwis is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Brown throwing strikes but missing, from side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Huwan Bagwis will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Lee Brown's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Bagwis doesn't manage to clinch there - Brown circles away.
Brown attempts a counter takedown but Bagwis avoids it well and moves away. Bagwis scores with a hook to the body. Brown takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Brown throws a right hand that misses
and Bagwis counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Bagwis tries to clinch but Brown is having none of it. Bagwis catches Brown with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Brown closes the distance but Bagwis moves to the side and Bagwis counters with a left and a right that stings Brown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brown tries to close the distance and clinch but Bagwis swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Bagwis looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Brown tries to clinch there but Bagwis circles away.
Brown shoots in looking for a takedown. Bagwis tries to sprawl out of it but Brown keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bagwis manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bagwis wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Bagwis lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Bagwis sizes up Brown with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Brown throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Bagwis tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Brown is in Bagwis's guard. Brown prevents Bagwis from getting back to his feet. Lee Brown overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Brown throwing strikes but missing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brown won't allow Bagwis to get back to his feet. Brown looking to sit in guard and control but Bagwis gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Bagwis tries to free his leg and advance position but Brown is retaining full guard. Bagwis controlling from the top position. Bagwis won't allow Brown to sweep him here. Brown escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bagwis gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Bagwis passes into half guard. Brown is controlling Bagwis's position as best he can from this difficult position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brown is trying to control but can't.
Bagwis slows the pace down in half guard. It looks like Bagwis is going to stand back up.
Huwan Bagwis is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Bagwis with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Bagwis tries to stand and escape but Brown actually recovers to full guard. Bagwis slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Bagwis working some strikes from top position. Bagwis tries to stand but Brown is controlling from the bottom. Brown escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bagwis gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Bagwis looking to pass the guard. Bagwis looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Lee Brown has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bagwis thuds a left hand into Brown's body.
And that's the end of the fight! Huwan Bagwis comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Bagwis winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
