Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chance Farley (ranked 5067 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robin Van Der Hoorn (ranked 2782 p4p, 0 weight class). Robin Van Der Hoorn has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Chance Farley's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Robin Van Der Hoorn!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Reed Andrews and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farley gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Van Der Hoorn jumps into guard, dragging Farley to the mat.

Farley stands up and waves to Van Der Hoorn to follow him.

Farley escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Van Der Hoorn feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Van Der Hoorn has gone for a leg lock! Farley slips out almost immediately though and dives into Van Der Hoorn's guard.

Van Der Hoorn shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Van Der Hoorn was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Farley is trying to buck Van Der Hoorn off.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Both fighters take a look at the clock.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Farley managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Van Der Hoorn.
Farley gets back to half guard.

Farley flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Van Der Hoorn is taking a breather. Farley says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Van Der Hoorn is trying to control the action in half guard but Farley is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Van Der Hoorn thows a huge punch but Farley dodges it nicely.
Farley throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Farley forces Van Der Hoorn back against the cage and clinches.
Van Der Hoorn is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Van Der Hoorn manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Van Der Hoorn utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Chance Farley will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Farley throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Farley rushes Van Der Hoorn and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Van Der Hoorn prevents a body shot from Farley.
Van Der Hoorn gets control of Farley's arms and successfully pulls guard. Van Der Hoorn will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Farley controls from within his opponent's guard.
Van Der Hoorn is striking off his back. Farley thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.

Van Der Hoorn has a hand on Farley's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Farley takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Farley cracks Van Der Hoorn with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Farley forces the positional change into back control.
Farley keeps control of the position as Van Der Hoorn tries to break free.
Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Farley.

Van Der Hoorn covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
Farley lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Van Der Hoorn.

Farley is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Van Der Hoorn. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.
Van Der Hoorn can't escape the position.
Farley is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Van Der Hoorn can do to turn this around?
Farley is looking to control Van Der Hoorn but Van Der Hoorn is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Farley is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Farley gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Farley gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Farley apologises and we restart here on the feet.

It looks like Chance Farley has been cut.

Van Der Hoorn lands a nice leg kick that just misses Farley's sensitive parts.
Oh Farley is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Farley tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Van Der Hoorn just stands there and leans against the cage.
Van Der Hoorn tightens his grip and picks Farley up, before dumping him to the ground. Farley manages to land in guard.
Farley pushes Van Der Hoorn off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Van Der Hoorn closes the distance looking for a takedown. Farley stuffs it but Van Der Hoorn still has hold of him. Van Der Hoorn picks Farley up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Van Der Hoorn slams Farley to the floor and that's really hurt Farley - he doesn't know where he is! Van Der Hoorn throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Robin Van Der Hoorn!
