Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Quim Pinto (ranked 7269 p4p, 523 weight class) and Harumichi Bouya (ranked 5751 p4p, 476 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Pinto might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Ser Benfiquista. Bouya comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Watashi Wa Nigga-San kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Quim Pinto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Harumichi Bouya!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Steven Brown and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bouya lets loose with a powerful body kick. Pinto will feel that in the morning.
Bouya has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Bouya will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A little feinted left hand from Pinto on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Pinto attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
No joy there for Bouya, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
As Bouya backs away, Pinto returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Pinto shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Bouya lands with an overhand left.
Bouya throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Pinto throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bouya throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Bouya swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
letting Pinto counter with a right hand.
Bouya throws a combination that misses
and Pinto counters with a right hand to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bouya bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Pinto's head backwards.
Bouya lands a leg kick that knocks Pinto off balance momentarily.
Bouya scores with a shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pinto avoids a punch combination nicely.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Bouya.
Pinto misses with a wild combination.
Pinto wants to clinch.
Pinto is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nice body kick from Bouya.
Bouya shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Pinto eats them both and turns towards Bouya to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Bouya misses with a few strikes there.
Bouya connects with a right hand. Pinto shakes it off.
Good exchange - Bouya coming out on top.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bouya fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Pinto on the side of the head.
Bouya rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pinto moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bouya scores with a kick to the body.
Bouya drops Pinto with a beautiful combination! Pinto stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Bouya is looking for the KO!
Pinto is rocked!
It looks like Quim Pinto has been cut.
Bouya circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Pinto to the canvas! Pinto doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Bouya keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Harumichi Bouya!
Harumichi Bouya made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'Lets get down to business, motherfucker! Oh this is on ESPN+? Fuck ESPN+, love FOX.'.
