Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dana Mooney (ranked 5632 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlo Rebota (ranked 4973 p4p, 0 weight class). Carlo Rebota has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Dana Mooney's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dana Mooney! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Carlo Rebota! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Albert Achterberg and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rebota goes for a double leg but Mooney avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Mooney continues to drive forward. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rebota. Rebota clinches up against the cage. Rebota gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Mooney regains guard.
Rebota trying to control the position from guard on top but Mooney is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Mooney will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mooney looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rebota is one step ahead there. Rebota scoring with punches to the head and body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rebota wants to stand and escape but instead Mooney has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Rebota pulls Mooney in to control the position. Mooney controls from within his opponent's guard. Mooney has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Mooney missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rebota trying to control the position.
Rebota is looking for a triangle but Mooney pushes his legs off easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mooney thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mooney sitting in guard, not really doing much.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Rebota has Mooney up against the cage in a clinch.
Mooney gets control of Rebota's arms and successfully pulls guard. Mooney will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Rebota preventing the sweep. Rebota drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Mooney dives on top into guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rebota has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Mooney has passed into side control.
Mooney working away. Mooney tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Rebota keeps Mooney under control for a moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rebota fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Rebota connects with a leg kick. Mooney looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Sloppy strikes from Mooney. Those never looked like landing. Rebota throws a leg kick which misses Mooney's front leg but catches the back leg as Mooney tries to avoid it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mooney tries to sprawl but Rebota drives through with a takedown into half guard. Rebota is stalling here. Mooney is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Rebota seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Mooney has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Rebota wants to get back to his feet but Mooney is dominant here and he's now got Rebota's back!
That's one minute gone in the round. Rebota fending off the submission attempt from Mooney. Rebota preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Mooney. Mooney controlling the position well here. Rebota rolled but Mooney kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Rebota tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Mooney get's back to his feet. A slapping leg kick lands for Rebota.

As Rebota looks to move away, Mooney throws a big counter combo but Rebota just gets out of the way.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mooney dives in for a single leg takedown but Rebota sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Rebota drives through and clinches with Mooney against the cage.
A right hook to the body lands for Rebota.
Rebota tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Mooney smiles and moves away.
Dana Mooney has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carlo Rebota. Rebota throws a body kick that misses and Mooney counters with a two punch combo. Rebota tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. As Rebota looks to move away, Mooney throws a big counter combo but Rebota just gets out of the way. Mooney dives in for a single leg takedown but Rebota sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Rebota misses with a head kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rebota fails to land with a series of punches.
Mooney is looking to counter the offense by Rebota and move into the clinch. Rebota pushes Mooney up against the cage in a clinch. Mooney is trying to pull guard but Rebota turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Rebota escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rebota throws a head kick that misses. Mooney seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Rebota scores with a decent looking hook. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Rebota. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Rebota lands with a slapping head kick. Rebota shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mooney as he avoids it easily. It looked like Mooney was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carlo Rebota showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Rebota pushes Mooney up against the cage in a clinch. Mooney jumps guard and drags Rebota to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Mooney is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Mooney looking to control.
Mooney pulls Rebota in to control the position. Rebota must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Rebota slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mooney trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Mooney trying to keep a closed guard but Rebota is proving a slippery customer.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Mooney holds on and takes a little breather. Dana Mooney overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Mooney is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Rebota walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Mooney checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Mooney seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Rebota clinches up against the cage. Rebota is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Mooney scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Rebota tries to get back to half guard but can't. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Rebota pushes Mooney up against the cage in a clinch. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mooney is looking to take this one to the mat. Mooney is looking to take this one to the mat. Mooney tries to pull guard but Rebota won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dana Mooney. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mooney jumps guard and drags Rebota to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Rebota makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Dana Mooney. I think Mooney has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
