Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dewell Brewer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jerry Cho! The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brewer shoots in but Cho avoids the takedown attempt easily. Brewer takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Brewer has Cho up against the cage in a clinch.
Brewer takes a shot to the head. Brewer wants to break free but Cho has control.
Brewer can't break the clinch.
Brewer is looking to break free of the clinch but Cho has double underhooks. Cho lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
It looks like Dewell Brewer has been cut. Cho breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Brewer is looking to clinch but Cho is avoiding it.
Cho connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Brewer tumbling to the canvas! Cho pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Brewer was done - good stoppage!
