Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pacer Dalton (ranked 1719 p4p, 34 weight class) and Marcin Vanna (ranked 1855 p4p, 39 weight class). Marcin Vanna is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pacer Dalton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Marcin Vanna!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vanna tries to clinch but Dalton moves out of range.
Vanna shoots in and drives through. Dalton sprawls well.
Dalton drops down looking for a counter takedown but Vanna sprawls and moves away.
Vanna displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Dalton.

Dalton drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Dalton passes into half guard.
Dalton controlling the pace.
Dalton seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Vanna for as long as he can get away with.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dalton got a little sloppy there for a moment and Vanna has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dalton has managed to get both his arms back between Vanna's legs - danger averted.

Vanna can't keep his opponent in guard - Dalton advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Dalton closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Vanna has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Dalton is on him like a limpet, forcing Vanna back against the cage.

Dalton has hold of one of Vanna's legs. Vanna is fighting the takedown attempt but Dalton gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Dalton has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Vanna is looking for a triangle but Dalton pushes his legs off easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Pacer Dalton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dalton wants to pass the guard but Vanna is keeping the position.
Dalton is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Vanna can do to turn this around?

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Poor strikes thrown by Dalton there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Dalton shoots in looking for a takedown but Vanna manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dalton's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Vanna keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Dalton shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Vanna sprawls well. Vanna wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dalton gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pacer Dalton. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dalton.
Vanna shoots for a double leg takedown but Dalton sprawls well. He's pushed Vanna's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Dalton closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

If it seems like I'm not saying a lot, it's just because Dalton is stinking the place up with his stalling.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Marcin Vanna has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Vanna tries to buck Dalton off but Dalton is having none of it.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

And that's the end of the fight!
Pacer Dalton showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dalton, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Marcin Vanna spoke after the fight, saying 'You win some you lose some not everything will go your way but at were fighting for that title'.
