The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rand shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Meldir pinned against the cage. Meldir gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Danny Rand seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rand shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Meldir as he avoids it easily.
Meldir drops Rand with a left and a right! Oh, Rand is hurt - Meldir dives into side control looking to finish!
Rand is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Meldir crunches a massive hammerfist down on Rand - he's out! Meldir Holds back on further strikes and jumps to his feet to celebrate with the crowd!
