Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Morgan Hudson (ranked 4084 p4p, 425 weight class) and Samuel Lizard (ranked 5846 p4p, 486 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Morgan Hudson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Samuel Lizard!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Dmitry Maklakov and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lizard avoids a kick to the body.
Hudson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Lizard lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Hudson drops his hands momentarily and Lizard takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Hudson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hudson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lizard manages to avoid it.
Lizard is looking for the big counter here.
Lizard lands with an overhand left.
Hudson walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Hudson moves away from the strike by Lizard.
Hudson misses with a straight right.
Hudson clinches up with Lizard and pushes him back against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hudson breaks from the clinch.

Lizard slips a jab from Hudson.
Hudson misses with a lunging right hand
and Lizard cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A decent looking cross lands there for Lizard.
Lizard has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Lizard fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Hudson lands an overhand right.
Hudson throws an off balance right hand
and Lizard counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Lizard throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Lizard lands with a straight right. Hudson didn't see that one coming.

Lizard lands a head shot.
Hudson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Hudson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lizard moves away.
Lizard looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Lizard bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

and Lizard counters with a straight right hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hudson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

enabling Lizard to counter with a crisp jab.
Lizard is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Hudson had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Hudson ducks straight into an uppercut from Lizard and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Hudson manages to regain guard straight away.
Hudson is rocked!
Hudson pushes Lizard off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Oh Hudson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lizard throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Hudson counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Hudson seems to have got his legs back now.
Hudson is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Lizard lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Hudson takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Hudson slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Hudson slips a straight right by Lizard.
Hudson wants to clinch up but Lizard keeps it at a distance.
Lizard throws out a counter right but Hudson avoids it with no problem.
Lizard on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Lizard getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Hudson doesn't manage to clinch there - Lizard circles away.
Lizard lands a nice shot that snaps Hudson's head back.
Hudson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Lizard has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Hudson finds it's way round the side to connect with Lizard's head.
A jab from Lizard does it's job there.
Morgan Hudson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hudson takes one to the chin there.
Lizard lands a lovely overhand right.
Lizard checks a low kick from Hudson.

Lizard throws a hook but Hudson blocks it.
Hudson throws a front kick aimed at Lizard's knee but Lizard avoids it well.
Hudson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Lizard's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hudson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Lizard scrambles back to his feet.
The fighters circling - Hudson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Lizard listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Hudson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Lizard throws a body shot but no joy.
Hudson lands a nice hook to Lizard's body. Lizard takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Lizard takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Hudson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
As Hudson backs off Lizard throws a huge counter combo but Hudson manages to avoid it all.
Hudson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Hudson misses with a hook
and Lizard cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Hudson slips a straight right by Lizard.
Hudson was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Lizard pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Hudson misses with an uppercut
and Lizard counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Hudson thinking.
Hudson looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A left lands for Lizard.
Lizard connects with a single shot there.
Hudson just misses with a punch to the body.
Hudson misses with a left hand
and Lizard counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Lizard throws a left that rocks Hudson and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Lizard dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Hudson regain composure!
Lizard stands up.
Lizard defending well as Hudson loads up on a big left hand.
Hudson walks straight into a right hand from Lizard - that's dropped him! Lizard jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Hudson from any more punishment! Hudson complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Samuel Lizard!
