Nakano looks to land a body kick but Gusmao moved away.
Nakano takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Gusmao throws a hook to the side of Nakano's head but Nakano sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Gusmao uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Nakano has time to react.

Gusmao might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

As Gusmao backs away, Nakano returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

Gusmao's jab looks to have found its range, popping Nakano under the eye.

It looks like Naoyuki Nakano has been cut.

Oh Nakano is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gusmao circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Nakano to the canvas! Nakano doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Gusmao keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Henrique Gusmao was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
