Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Darius Witt (ranked 5024 p4p, 0 weight class) and Magomed Abbasov (ranked 4912 p4p, 453 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Konstantin Menshow and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Witt enables Abbasov to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Witt manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Abbasov makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Abbasov controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Abbasov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Witt is looking to stand up but Abbasov isn't so interested in that idea.

Abbasov feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Abbasov decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Witt, up you get!
Horrible takedown attempt by Abbasov or perhaps it was just good defense by Witt, which made it look bad.
Witt drives through and clinches with Abbasov against the cage.
Abbasov is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Witt can't fight it off and eventually Abbasov manages to take the fight to the floor. Witt looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Witt leaves Abbasov with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Abbasov wants to get back to his feet.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Witt gets caught flat footed, as Abbasov shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Witt moves into the clinch successfully.
Witt jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Abbasov walks away with a smile on his face. Witt gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Witt closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Abbasov did well to prevent Witt getting side control.

Abbasov is trying to stand.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

I would just about give that final round to Magomed Abbasov .
I think Abbasov has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A less than humble Magomed Abbasov misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
