Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Phil Coleman (ranked 99 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stig Jahr (ranked 1286 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Phil Coleman has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Phil Coleman seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Phil Coleman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Stig Jahr! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Peter Branson and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Coleman shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Coleman was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Jahr is trying to get back to half guard. Jahr is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Coleman off and has taken his back! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jahr is punishing Coleman with some ground and pound. Jahr looking to soften up his opponent with punches.
Coleman tries to escape but Jahr has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Coleman is working hard here to advance position. Coleman looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Coleman avoids the strikes from Jahr.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coleman defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
Oooh a big shot gets through from Jahr. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!

Coleman's coaches at have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position. Coleman fending off the submission attempt from Jahr. Jahr is landing with strikes. Coleman can't take much more of this. Jahr has the hooks in. Coleman is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. I've been told that Jahr has been drilling his wrestling of late, which has already helped him take this fight to the mat. Let's see how much of an impact it has on the outcome of the ground game. Jahr has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Jahr throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Coleman escapes and throws Jahr's legs to the side, diving into side control! Jahr tries to improve position but can't. Jahr gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Coleman seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Jahr regains full guard. Nicely done. Coleman postures up.
Coleman connects with a couple of short punches. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Coleman is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Jahr wants to sweep but no luck. Jahr manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Coleman manages to get himself to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jahr in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Coleman keeping moving, preventing Jahr from controlling successfully. Jahr throws an elbow that misses. Coleman uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Jahr's guard. Nice move by Coleman! Jahr wants to sweep here but Coleman controlling him for the moment. Jahr is looking for a triangle but Coleman pushes his legs off easily.
Coleman got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jahr has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Coleman has managed to get both his arms back between Jahr's legs - danger averted. Coleman cracks Jahr with a solid left hand.

A close round but Stig Jahr will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Coleman shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Jahr tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Coleman defends well and Jahr ends up having to push Coleman into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Jahr just misses with a punch to the body.
Coleman lands a jab. Nice uppercut lands for Coleman. That snapped Jahr's head back.

Jahr shoots in looking for a takedown but Coleman manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jahr's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Coleman connects with a jab. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jahr. Phil Coleman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stig Jahr. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Coleman lands with a good body shot. Coleman shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Jahr manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jahr working a defensive guard here.

Jahr seems keen to control Coleman's posture. Coleman postures up and lands a big shot to Jahr's brow. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jahr is on top in guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Coleman pulls Jahr in close to his closed guard and prevents Jahr from doing any damage or advancing position. Jahr with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Jahr won't allow Coleman to sweep him here. Jahr wants to control from the top but Coleman keeps moving. Phil Coleman overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Jahr scoring with some ground and pound. Jahr with a flurry of punches that miss.

Jahr loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Jahr throws a big elbow that misses. Coleman controlling the position. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Jahr is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. That's four minutes gone in the round. Horrible takedown attempt by Coleman or perhaps it was just good defense by Jahr, which made it look bad. Coleman scores with a jab to the body. A looping hook to the body misses from Jahr. Coleman does a little dance to reset his feet. Coleman is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Jahr. Coleman lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Coleman forces Jahr back against the cage and clinches. Coleman lands a body shot. Coleman is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Jahr can do to turn this around? Jahr is trying to pull guard but Coleman has him pressed against the cage. Jahr drops down looking for an ankle pick but Coleman pulls his leg out and moves away.

Phil Coleman dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Coleman lands the left hand. Jahr tries to score a power double leg takedown but Coleman sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jahr somewhat. As Jahr tries to get set, Coleman tries to push him back and clinch up but Jahr manages to avoid the attempt. Phil Coleman is winning the standup battle so far. Coleman dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Jahr throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Coleman's waist but Coleman gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jahr off to one side. Coleman looks for a takedown but Jahr sprawls well. Coleman is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Jahr takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Jahr tries to buck Coleman off but Coleman is having none of it. Jahr manages to get back to half guard. Coleman slips a nice elbow through Jahr's hands, connecting with Jahr's forehead. Coleman working the head and body with strikes. Jahr moves into full guard.
Jahr is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Coleman is looking to control Jahr's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Coleman avoid being mounted? Jahr not landing any meaningful shots this time. The fighters are battling for position here. Coleman manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Jahr preventing the sweep. Jahr tries to free his leg and advance position but Coleman is retaining full guard. Coleman looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Coleman keeping full guard, as Jahr tries to pass. Coleman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Coleman holds on and takes a little breather. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Coleman is on top in guard.
Jahr is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Coleman is aware though and is defending well. Coleman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jahr swivels though and keeps the full guard. Jahr is looking to sweep but instead, Coleman has passed into half guard.
Jahr is looking to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jahr is still trying to improve position. Coleman trying to control the action but Jahr is working from the bottom. Coleman scores with a couple of good hammerfists. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Coleman with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Coleman lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
And that's the end of the fight! Phil Coleman showed his dominance in that final round. Well Coleman has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Phil Coleman wins by unanimous decision! Phil Coleman tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
