Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Evan Crosby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gonzo Rawlings (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Evan Crosby looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Evan Crosby! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gonzo Rawlings! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rawlings shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Crosby's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Crosby looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Rawlings controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Rawlings won't allow Crosby to sweep him here. Crosby keeping full guard, as Rawlings tries to pass. Rawlings is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Rawlings chips away with some ground and pound. Rawlings forces his way into half guard. Rawlings not doing much here.

Crosby tries to get to full guard but Rawlings has control of the leg. Crosby moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Rawlings content to stall in guard here. Rawlings trying to control the position from guard on top but Crosby is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rawlings trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Crosby being controlled here, momentarily. Rawlings advances to half guard. Rawlings moves into full mount! Crosby won't be happy about that! Rawlings is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Crosby is in real trouble.

The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Rawlings's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

Rawlings tries to get the hooks in deep but Crosby pushed the leg off.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rawlings tightening his grip on Crosby, looking for the choke. Crosby rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Rawlings passes the guard and advances to mount! Rawlings controlling from the full mount. Crosby tries to hold on but Rawlings pushes him away. Rawlings looking for a guillotine from mount but Crosby is having none of it. Rawlings postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Crosby looks a forlorn figure.
Crosby is working to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rawlings jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Crosby manages to avoid the submission attempt. Rawlings thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Rawlings working away. Crosby is looking for a sweep. Rawlings stands up and beckons Crosby to his feet. Crosby tries for a takedown but Rawlings circles away easily and Rawlings decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Crosby's guard. Rawlings trying to control but Crosby is working from the bottom. Crosby manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Rawlings is trying desperately to improve position. Crosby looking to secure an arm triangle but Rawlings defends it well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rawlings is wriggling around trying to escape.
Crosby has control of Rawlings's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Rawlings regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Rawlings tries to hold on but Crosby postures up. Crosby tries to control but Rawlings wriggling away. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Crosby looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Crosby fails to advance to Rawlings's back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gonzo Rawlings dominated that round. That's time! Crosby's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Crosby with a poor takedown and Rawlings counters with a takedown into side control. Crosby can't do much from the bottom here. Rawlings looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Rawlings is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Crosby knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Crosby tries to improve position but can't. Rawlings thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Crosby gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Crosby is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Rawlings locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Crosby is forced to tap!
