The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tonu throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A combination from Tonu does no damage.

Herzog Hearn closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Herzog Hearn lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Tonu wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Herzog Hearn comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

It looks like Edward Tonu has been cut.
Herzog Hearn lands an elbow inside.
Tonu is trying to break the clinch but Herzog Hearn has him pressed against the cage.
Tonu is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Herzog Hearn lands with a light punch inside.
A frustrated look appears on Tonu's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Herzog Hearn jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Tonu walks away with a smile on his face. Herzog Hearn gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Herzog Hearn lands a left and a right that send Tonu crashing to the mat, dazed. Herzog Hearn thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Tonu is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Herzog Hearn checks a leg kick.
Tonu is still on wobbly legs! Can Herzog Hearn finish him?

Herzog Hearn gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Herzog Hearn goes for a takedown attempt but Tonu pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Haley Herzog Hearn. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tonu throws a lazy right hand but Herzog Hearn sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Herzog Hearn half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Herzog Hearn lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Tonu head around and knocks him out cold! Herzog Hearn hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
