Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Colt Growly!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Nard Betker and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Growly closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Ledin is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

The fighters are battling for position here. Ledin manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Ledin is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Growly defends well.

Ledin isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Growly stacks Ledin on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Growly!
Ledin is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Growly's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ledin could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Growly looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ledin with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Growly is nestled in close to Ledin, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Ledin wants to improve his position but Growly is controlling well.

Ledin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Growly can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Growly wants to pass the guard but Ledin is keeping the position.

Growly stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ledin swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Growly must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

It looks like Per Ledin has been cut.
Ledin is trying desperately to improve position.
Growly cracks Ledin with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Oh Ledin is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!


Per Ledin's cut is getting worse.
Growly postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Ledin in real trouble here! The ref calls for Ledin to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
