Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Koba Wyatt (ranked 268 p4p, 39 weight class) and Brad Lansar (ranked 392 p4p, 55 weight class). Wyatt comes to the cage accompanied by Channel Zero. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
35 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Koba Wyatt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
24 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brad Lansar! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fighters circle momentarily. Lansar darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Lansar throws a poor cross that misses
enabling Wyatt to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Brad Lansar has been cut. Lansar shoots for a takedown but Wyatt saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Lansar throws a hook to the side of Wyatt's head but Wyatt sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Lansar wants to clinch and Wyatt makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Lansar has Wyatt up against the cage in a clinch.
Wyatt pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Lansar throws the left hand but Wyatt avoids the punch easily. Wyatt moves forwards but Lansar connects with a nice, crisp jab. Lansar jabs Wyatt to the body, keeping him at a distance. Lansar thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Wyatt if he has to take too many more of those.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Wyatt avoids the body shot from Lansar.
Lansar clinches up with Wyatt and pushes him back against the cage. Lansar is working Wyatt over against the cage. Lansar tries a body shot but Wyatt blocks it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lansar presses Wyatt against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Lansar. Lansar lands with a left to the head. Lansar tries to work over Wyatt's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Wyatt's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Lansar fails to pull guard.
Koba Wyatt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brad Lansar. Lansar throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Wyatts head. A nice left hand lands by Lansar.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Lansar lands a right hand that snaps the head of Wyatt backwards. Lansar misses with a hook to the ribs.

Lansar tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Wyatt's elbow. Wyatt breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Wyatt staying out of range there. Wyatt is looking to counter punch. Lansar throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Lansar loads up on a big right hand but Wyatt slips the punch. Lansar cracks Wyatt with an uppercut from hell and Wyatt crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Lansar's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Lansar wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Wyatt, who protects the arm well. Lansar thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Lansar goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Wyatt rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Lansar's guard! Nice work there by Wyatt! Wyatt has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Lansar is proving hard to escape from. Lansar tries to land a sweep but no joy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brad Lansar dominated that round. The cut man is working on Brad Lansar's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Lansar ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wyatt moves away. An attempted straight right counter from Wyatt misses the target. Left hook, right uppercut from Wyatt. Wyatt throws a body kick that misses. Lansar tries to counter with a clinch but Wyatt shakes him off and moves away. Lansar misses with a lunging right hand
and Wyatt counters with a lovely shot to the body. Wyatt throws a sloppy head kick and Lansar counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Brad Lansar seems to be getting the better of the standup. Lansar throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Wyatt displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lansar throws out the jab. Lansar cracks a nice hook into Wyatt's ribs. A nice inside leg kick there by Wyatt. That's going to slow Lansar down. Lansar tries to clinch up. Lansar doesn't manage to clinch there - Wyatt circles away.
Nice shot lands for Lansar. Lansar misses the jab. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lansar throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Wyatt tumbling to the canvas! Lansar drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Wyatt manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Lansar has Wyatt in his guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wyatt stands up and waves to Lansar to follow him. Lansar instigates a clinch. Lansar gets control of Wyatt's arms and successfully pulls guard. Lansar will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Lansar wants to sweep here but Wyatt controlling him for the moment. Lansar escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wyatt gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wyatt tries to stand but Lansar is controlling from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wyatt stopping the sweep attempt from Lansar. Wyatt wants to stand and escape but instead Lansar has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Wyatt keeping full guard, as Lansar tries to pass. Wyatt wants to stand and escape but Lansar is having none of it. Lansar trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Lansar drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Wyatt dives on top into guard. Lansar tries to land a sweep but no joy. Lansar working for submissions but it's allowed Wyatt to get to half guard.
Lansar tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Wyatt has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Wyatt stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lansar scores with a sloppy right hand. Wyatt should have avoided that one. Lansar swings and misses with a shot to the body and Wyatt counters with a straight right hand. Lansar scores with a decent looking hook. Lansar scores with a punch to the head. Koba Wyatt is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Wyatt tries to keep at a distance but Lansar has taken the fight into the clinch. This has been an exciting period of action! Lansar misses with a punch to the body.
Lansar lands a shot to the body. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wyatt breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Wyatt slips under a jab. Lansar connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Wyatt's hands. Lansar throws a combination that misses and Wyatt counters with a lovely straight right hand! Lansar closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Lansar working aggressively here.

Lansar wants to sweep here but Wyatt controlling him for the moment. Wyatt gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wyatt misses with a hook. Lansar ducked under it nicely. Lansar is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Lansar scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Wyatt lands with a nice body punch. Wyatt misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Lansar checks a leg kick. Lansar ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wyatt moves away. Wyatt moves away from the strike by Lansar. Lansar misses with a body shot.
Lansar lands a left and a right that sends Wyatt crashing to the canvas! Lansar dives into mount looking to finish!
Wyatt is rocked! Lansar has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Wyatt is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Lansar is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Lansar extends the arm and Wyatt is forced to tap!
