Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bastyn Dall (ranked 296 p4p, 18 weight class) and Nobunaga Tanaka (ranked 136 p4p, 8 weight class). Dall's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Beast. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
31 - 23 - 3, fighting out of New York, Bastyn Dall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Nobunaga Tanaka! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good standup being displayed there by Dall as he connects with a hook. Dall takes a shot right to the bread basket. Tanaka chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Dall can pounce on him.
Tanaka slips a jab from Dall. Dall looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Jab from Dall. Tanaka with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Dall moves out of range of the strikes. Tanaka lands a jab to the nose. Tanaka blocks a jab. Tanaka has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Dall. Tanaka avoids a kick to the body.
Tanaka misses with a low kick.
Tanaka throws a looping overhand right but Dall ducks down to avoid it. Dall throws the left hand but Tanaka avoids the punch easily. Tanaka throws a push kick but Dall slaps the foot to one side. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tanaka throws a jab when Dall was well out of range. A big left from Dall misses. Nice uppercut there from Tanaka. Tanaka looks to land a left hand but Dall moved out of range nicely. Dall slips a jab from Tanaka. Dall half committed to a counter leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tanaka scores with a jab. Dall acknowledges it with a nod of the head. A head kick misses from Tanaka. Dall keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Dall was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Dall throws a hook to the side of Tanaka's head but Tanaka sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Tanaka throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A nice inside leg kick there by Dall. That's going to slow Tanaka down. Dall connects with a crisp jab. Tanaka with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Dall sizes up Tanaka with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Tanaka delivers a nice body kick. Dall misses with a hook. Tanaka misses with a leg kick. A swing and a miss from Dall. An inside leg kick from Dall misses. Dall on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Tanaka ducks under a wild hook from Dall. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dall throws a nice outside leg kick. Dall walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Tanaka checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Tanaka thows a body kick. Dall tries to catch it but that hurt him. Nobunaga Tanaka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dall fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Dall ducks under a wild hook from Tanaka. Tanaka with a jab. Tanaka misses with a looping left. Tanaka catches Dall with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Tanaka throws a head kick but Dall moves out of range.
Tanaka swings for the body but Dall moves out of range.
Dall scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Dall seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Tanaka does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Dall trying to mount his opponent but Tanaka defends it. Tanaka is looking to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dall seems to be working for a kimura but Tanaka defends the submission attempt. Tanaka is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Dall is trying to work for a kimura but Tanaka is defending well.
Dall is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Dall is working for a kimura but Tanaka is defending it quite comfortably.
Tanaka is looking for a sweep. Dall is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Dall is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Tanaka defends it well. Dall is working for a submission of some sort.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Tanaka preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Bastyn Dall will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Tanaka slips under a jab from Dall. Dall does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Tanaka lands a slapping body shot.
A big left from Dall misses. Dall scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Tanaka doesn't seem bothered though. Dall lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Tanaka misses with a looping left. A jab from Tanaka does it's job there. Tanaka throws an off balance right hand
and Dall connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Dall misses the jab. Tanaka checks a low kick from Dall. Dall is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tanaka. Dall moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Tanaka keeps Dall at a distance using the push kick. A punch lands to the side of Dall 's head but he takes it in his stride. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Tanaka lands with a thumping leg kick.
Dall throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Tanaka does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. A big right from Tanaka misses. Nobunaga Tanaka seems to be getting the better of the standup.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dall swings away with a leg kick that misses. Dall throws a front kick aimed at Tanaka's knee but Tanaka avoids it well. A little jabbing left from Tanaka on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Tanaka throws a body kick that misses. Tanaka swings for the body but Dall moves out of range.
Tanaka throws a leg kick that is checked and Dall counters with a nice uppercut. Dall misses with a low kick.
Tanaka throws out a loose jab but Dall uses good head movement to avoid it. Dall looks to land a body kick but Tanaka moved away. Dall loads up on a big right hand but Tanaka slips the punch. Dall turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Tanaka swings away with a leg kick that misses. Tanaka misses with a body kick. Tanaka rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Dall counters with a straight right hand. Tanaka fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Dall. Dall fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Tanaka sprawls well initially but Dall persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dall wants to work for an arm triangle but Tanaka is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Dall is working for a submission of some sort.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dall prevents Tanaka from improving his position. Tanaka trying to control from the bottom.
Dall seems to be working for a kimura but Tanaka defends the submission attempt. Dall keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Tanaka felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tanaka tries to roll over but Dall keeps him under control. Tanaka gets full guard. Dall trying to control the position from guard on top but Tanaka is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tanaka is pulling down on Dall's head. It's preventing any offense from Dall, at least for the moment. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Tanaka is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Dall defends well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Dall tries to free his leg and advance position but Tanaka is retaining full guard. Tanaka manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Dall manages to get himself to full guard.
Tanaka postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Dall working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Tanaka has passed into half guard!
Dall is refusing to be controlled, as Tanaka sits in half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Bastyn Dall will probably get the nod. That's time! Dall's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Tanaka loads up on a big right hand but Dall slips the punch. Dall feinted there with a counter leg kick. Tanaka waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Dall. Tanaka checks a leg kick. Tanaka gets caught flat footed, as Dall shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Dall is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Tanaka has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Dall is looking to defend but Tanaka has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Dall! Tanaka pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Dall taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Nobunaga Tanaka! During a confident post fight interview, Nobunaga Tanaka thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him. The defeated Bastyn Dall had this to say: 'A Beast is most dangerous when cornered!'.
