Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Crock O Snake Under The Sea! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rafael Loureiro! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Under The Sea ducks under a wild hook from Loureiro. Under The Sea seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Loureiro paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Loureiro scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Loureiro throws a body shot but no joy. Loureiro fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Under The Sea on the side of the head. Under The Sea takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Loureiro misses the shot to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Loureiro looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Under The Sea! Under The Sea struggling a bit here. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Loureiro tries to move to mount but Under The Sea blocks the move with his legs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Loureiro works to advance to full mount. Under The Sea defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Under The Sea is looking to improve his position but Loureiro isn't that keen on the idea. Under The Sea wants to hold on but Loureiro pushes him away. Loureiro working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Loureiro jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Under The Sea is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Under The Sea and Loureiro has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Loureiro trying to control the position but Under The Sea is working away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Loureiro has knee on belly and moves into mount. Loureiro working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Under The Sea is looking to get to half guard. Loureiro trying to control but Under The Sea is having none of it. Loureiro might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Under The Sea haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Under The Sea wants to control but Loureiro is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Under The Sea regains half guard. Under The Sea trying to control here.
Under The Sea is looking for a sweep. Loureiro is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Loureiro is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Under The Sea is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Temple of Illumination that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. Loureiro prevents Under The Sea from improving his position. Loureiro is working for a submission of some sort.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Under The Sea tries to get back to half guard but can't. Loureiro tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Under The Sea is looking for a sweep. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rafael Loureiro dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Under The Sea gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Loureiro to score an easy takedown into full guard. Under The Sea lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Loureiro has an active guard here but Under The Sea has managed to pass into half guard.
Loureiro is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Under The Sea jumps into side control! Under The Sea is in trouble now - Loureiro has advanced to mount! Loureiro tries to control but Under The Sea wriggling away. Under The Sea is desperately trying to improve his position but Loureiro has a good base and remains in mount. Loureiro trying to control but Under The Sea is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Loureiro is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Under The Sea can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Loureiro trying to control the position but Under The Sea is working away. Loureiro tries to move into full mount but can't pass Under The Sea's legs. Under The Sea tries to buck Loureiro off but Loureiro is having none of it. Loureiro wants to control but Under The Sea is keeping him busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Under The Sea is trying to control Loureiro's posture but Loureiro avoids it. Both fighters take a look at the clock. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Loureiro is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Under The Sea has escaped the position, nice work there. Loureiro tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Loureiro has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Loureiro wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Under The Sea, who protects the arm well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rafael Loureiro showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Loureiro lands a jab to Under The Sea's midsection. Under The Sea takes one to the chin there. Loureiro swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Loureiro ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Loureiro tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Under The Sea was well out of range. Poor timing from Loureiro. Loureiro jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Under The Sea walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
That's one minute gone in the round. A punch combination from Loureiro misses. Under The Sea appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Loureiro lands a nice hook to Under The Sea's body. Under The Sea takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Under The Sea ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Loureiro lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Loureiro catches Under The Sea with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! A big left from Loureiro misses. Under The Sea half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Loureiro throws a looping overhand right but Under The Sea ducks down to avoid it. Loureiro connects with a nice looking jab.

and Under The Sea counters with a shoot takedown. Loureiro fights it but they end up in guard. Crock O Snake Under The Sea has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Rafael Loureiro is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Under The Sea passes Loureiro's left leg - he's now in half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Loureiro is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Under The Sea tries to pass to full mount but Loureiro defends it. Under The Sea is working hard here to advance position. Loureiro moves into full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Loureiro lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Loureiro stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Under The Sea swivels though and keeps the full guard. Loureiro's corner is telling him to maintain position. Under The Sea trying to control the position.
Loureiro forces his way into half guard. Loureiro wants to lay and pray for a moment but Under The Sea keeps working.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Under The Sea looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Loureiro is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Under The Sea wants to control but Loureiro is keeping busy and won't allow it. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Under The Sea tries to roll over but Loureiro keeps him under control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Loureiro is pressing down on Under The Sea's thigh, looking to free his foot. Under The Sea is holding on for now. Still in half guard, Loureiro seems content to control.
And that's the end of the fight! Rafael Loureiro comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Loureiro has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
