Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Blaine Salazar (ranked 23472 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fart Minarsich (ranked 6645 p4p, 0 weight class). Fart Minarsich has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Blaine Salazar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Fart Minarsich! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Minarsich misses with a body shot.
Minarsich has managed to clinch.
Salazar jumps guard but Minarsich turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Salazar tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Minarsich just stands there and leans against the cage. Minarsich is defending well against a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Blaine Salazar. That's going to take a lot out of him. Minarsich is pressed up against the cage. Salazar has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Minarsich down to the mat. Minarsich avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Minarsich scores with a takedown into Salazar's guard. Salazar not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Salazar really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Salazar is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Minarsich controlling from the top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Minarsich trying to control but Salazar is working from the bottom. Minarsich looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Salazar escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Minarsich gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Salazar is working an open guard so Minarsich takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Minarsich misses with a body kick. Minarsich moves into the clinch. Salazar breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Minarsich darts in and clinches Salazar up against the cage. Minarsich is trying to force a seperation but Salazar has the dominant position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Salazar tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Minarsich should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Minarsich tries to break free but Salazar pushes him back against the cage. Salazar tries to pull guard but Minarsich won't allow it.
Salazar tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Minarsich just stands there and leans against the cage. Salazar jumps guard but Minarsich stands there with Salazar around his waist. Salazar gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Minarsich tries to circle away but Salazar has him pinned against the cage. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Minarsich has eaten all the pies! Salazar breaks from the clinch.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Salazar enables Minarsich to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Salazar manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Minarsich gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Minarsich gets a double leg takedown into Salazar's guard.
Salazar is rocked! Minarsich stays in close to Salazar's body and controls the position. Oh Salazar is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Minarsich trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Salazar looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Salazar is breathing heavily. Minarsich stands up from guard. Let's bang! Minarsich closes the distance looking for a takedown. Salazar stuffs it but Minarsich still has hold of him. Minarsich picks Salazar up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Minarsich slams Salazar to the floor and that's really hurt Salazar - he doesn't know where he is! Minarsich throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Fart Minarsich!
