Good exchange - Svensson coming out on top.
Maxwell swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Svensson cracks Maxwell with a right hand to the side of the head.
It looks like Kevin Maxwell has been cut.
Svensson throws a shot to the body.
Maxwell misses with an uppercut
and Svensson counters with a nice uppercut.
Svensson getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Kevin Maxwell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Maxwell rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Maxwell takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Maxwell takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Maxwell throws a left and a right that both miss
and Svensson counters with a nice right hand that sends Maxwell toppling to the canvas! Maxwell scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Svensson finish him?!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Maxwell looks up at the clock. Bad move! Svensson lands a right hand from hell, dropping Maxwell. Svensson pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sven Svensson!
