Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Mitsugu Takeishi! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Patrick Chaelsson! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Arvi Lind and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chaelsson shoots in and bounces Takeishi off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard. Chaelsson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Chaelsson content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Patrick Chaelsson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Takeishi was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Chaelsson has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Mitsugu Takeishi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Patrick Chaelsson. Chaelsson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Takeishi looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Takeishi is looking to reverse the position. An elbow from Chaelsson crashes against the mat.

Mitsugu Takeishi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Takeishi stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Takeishi wants it to stay on the feet. Chaelsson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Takeishi avoids it really well and circles away. Takeishi throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Chaelsson is absolutely dripping with sweat - he looks exhausted. Takeishi is looking to wear down Chaelsson with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Takeishi throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Chaelsson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Takeishi has managed to clinch.

Takeishi lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Takeishi creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Chaelsson's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Chaelsson drops to his knees and Takeishi pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 4, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mitsugu Takeishi! Mitsugu Takeishi is the new super heavyweight champion! Mitsugu Takeishi decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way. Patrick Chaelsson spoke after the fight, saying 'WTF???'.
