The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blackblood displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Emelianenko.
Blackblood lands a big head kick that sends Emelianenko tumbling to the mat! Blackblood takes a step backwards and waves Emelianenko back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Dimitri Emelianenko has been cut.
Blackblood closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Blackblood drops Emelianenko with a big knee straight up the middle! Emelianenko is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
Emelianenko is rocked!

and Blackblood holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Blackblood cracks Emelianenko with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Emelianenko looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Blackblood finish him?

A very excited looking Xavier Blackblood rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
