Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cobweb Cooter (ranked 1335 p4p, 150 weight class) and Nando Vasquez (ranked 3055 p4p, 274 weight class). Cooter comes to the cage accompanied by Porch Honky. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Cooter or perhaps it was just good defense by Vasquez, which made it look bad.
Cooter has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Vasquez misses with a hook. Cooter ducked under it nicely.
Cooter sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Vasquez enables Cooter to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Vasquez manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Vasquez manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Cooter throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Vasquez stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Well Vasquez has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
