The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
H avoids a punch combination nicely.
H closes the distance and clinches up with Henriksson, looking for a takedown. H pushes Henriksson against the cage but Henriksson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Henriksson connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Henriksson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around H's waist but H gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Henriksson off to one side.
H connects with a high kick.
It looks like Mikael Henriksson has been cut.
H tries to clinch up.
Henriksson moves in looking to clinch but H pushes him off.
Henriksson lands with a nice combination. H backs away looking to recover.
Henriksson doesn't manage to clinch there - H circles away.

Henriksson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

H looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
H bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Henriksson! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Henriksson can do anything to dispel that myth.
Henriksson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Henriksson avoiding damage under a succession of punches from H.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

H throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
H can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Henriksson is looking to escape.
H gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
H rushes Henriksson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
H pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Henriksson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
H thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Henriksson if he has to take too many more of those.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Henriksson has eaten all the pies!
H throws a leg kick which misses Henriksson's front leg but catches the back leg as Henriksson tries to avoid it.
Henriksson has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

H shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Henriksson as he avoids it easily.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mikael Henriksson's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
