Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kron Gracie (ranked 2410 p4p, 265 weight class) and Kay Teptrom (ranked 2540 p4p, 278 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gracie might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to ROYCE GRACIE. Kron Gracie has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Aafke Stam and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Teptrom fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Teptrom dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Gracie. That did some damage!
Teptrom takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
A shot to the liver by Gracie. Beautiful body shot.
Gracie scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Teptrom shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Gracie sprawls well. Gracie wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Teptrom gets slowly back to his feet.
Gracie comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gracie throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Teptrom was covering up waiting for the punch and Gracie finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Gracie uses his free foot to push down on Teptrom's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Teptrom.

Well Gracie has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
