Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Reynaldo Spence (ranked 6449 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Quinn (ranked 4697 p4p, 362 weight class). Dan Quinn has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Reynaldo Spence! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dan Quinn! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Jeff Smith and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Quinn lands a lovely overhand right.
It looks like Reynaldo Spence has been cut. Quinn fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Spence could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Quinn misses with a jab, cross combination.
Quinn tries to bum rush Spence with a series of wild strikes but Spence uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Spence takes one on the chin but seems OK.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Quinn is defended easily by Spence. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Spence moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quinn shoots in and drives through. Spence sprawls well. An attempted straight right counter from Spence misses the target. Spence fails to land the takedown. Quinn looks like he wants to counter punch here. Spence clinches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Quinn tries to break the clinch but Spence is controlling the position. Quinn's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Dan Quinn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Spence avoids a punch combination nicely.
Quinn fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Spence on the wrong end of a nice hook.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Quinn throws a left and a right that both miss
and Spence counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Quinn manages to break the clinch.

Quinn fails with the takedown. Spence wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Reynaldo Spence has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dan Quinn. Quinn circles away from the clinch attempt.
Quinn misses with a right hand and Spence moves into the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Quinn pressing his opponent against the cage. A frustrated look appears on Quinn's face as he tries to break the clinch. Spence tries to pull guard but Quinn forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Quinn breaks the clinch.
Quinn scores with a three punch combo!
Spence has closed the distance and engaged Quinn in a clinch.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Spence ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Spence no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Quinn won't allow Spence to sweep him here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dan Quinn dominated that round. The cut man is working on Reynaldo Spence's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Spence takes one to the side of the head.
Quinn drops Spence with a huge uppercut! Spence drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Quinn is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dan Quinn! Dan Quinn decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
