Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Geraldo Cobb!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lekkha Moun!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Taro Takaoka and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Moun shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Cobb manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Cobb keeping moving, preventing Moun from controlling successfully.
Cobb has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Moun trying to control but Cobb is working from the bottom.

Cobb scrambles and gets back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Cobb bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Moun is trying to get back to half guard.
Cobb working the ground and pound.
A lull in the action here as Cobb stalls from top position.
Moun tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Cobb wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Moun seems a little lost for a moment, as Cobb dominates the positioning.

Moun manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Cobb is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Moun tries to roll over but Cobb keeps him under control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cobb slows the pace down in half guard.
Cobb prevents Moun from improving his position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Still in half guard, Cobb seems content to control.

Cobb seems to be looking for submissions.
Cobb scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Cobb looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Cobb will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Moun throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Cobb was covering up waiting for the punch and Moun finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Cobb is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Cobb is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Geraldo Cobb dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Moun darts in and clinches Cobb up against the cage.
Cobb lands an elbow inside.
Moun keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Cobb's efforts to push away.

Moun successfully pulls guard.
Cobb lands a couple of digs.
Cobb controlling from the top position.
Moun is trying to control the position from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Moun looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Moun looking to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cobb engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Moun trying to control the position.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Cobb sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Cobb connects with a couple of short punches.

Cobb is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Cobb is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Moun is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Cobb controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Cobb has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Cobb stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Moun swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Cobb slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Cobb closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Geraldo Cobb dominated that second round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!



Moun has taken the fight to the clinch.
Cobb works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Cobb is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Moun can do to turn this around?
Moun looking to slow down the pace here.
Moun takes an elbow to the forehead.
Cobb creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Moun is trying to break the clinch but Cobb is controlling him.

Moun gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Cobb manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Cobb utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.

Moun jumps into guard, dragging Cobb to the mat.
Cobb engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Moun has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Cobb is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Moun.
Geraldo Cobb overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Moun takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Cobb in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Moun is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
