Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Norman Young (ranked 4319 p4p, 431 weight class) and Takanori Hori (ranked 4739 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Norman Young!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Takanori Hori!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Reed Andrews and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hori tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hori lands a high kick to the side of Young's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Hori dives into guard, looking to finish.
It looks like Norman Young has been cut.
Young had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hori defends it easily.
Young escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hori gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Hori stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Hori stuffs the takedown.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Young tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hori sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Young somewhat.
Hori throws a head kick that misses.
Young dives in for a single leg takedown but Hori sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Norman Young. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Young moves in looking to clinch but Hori pushes him off.
Hori lands with a kick to the temple. Young shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Hori feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Young collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Takanori Hori!
