Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bob Hauweg (ranked 3772 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jai Hale (ranked 3469 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bob Hauweg! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jai Hale! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Radbod Blank and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hauweg feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Hales jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! A jab from Hauweg does it's job there. Hale takes a jab right on the kisser.
Hale throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Hauweg counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Hauweg lands with a hook. Hale tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Hauweg lands a nice hook to Hale's body. Hale takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Hale has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Hauweg uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Hale has time to react. Hauweg stuffs the takedown. Hauweg lands with a shot to the body. Hauweg lands a nice hook to Hale's body. Hale takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hale takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Hale throws a right hand that Hauweg ducks under and follows up with a left that Hauweg also avoids with ease. Hauweg scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Hauweg closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Hale quickly recovers to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hauweg is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hauweg looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hale with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hauweg winds up and cracks Hale with a swinging punch to the side of the head. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hale can do anything to dispel that myth. Hauweg is nestled in close to Hale, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Hauweg slips a nice elbow through Hale's hands, connecting with Hale's forehead. Hauweg works his foot free and advances to mount. Hauweg drops a big elbow. That's hurt Hale! More shots from Hauweg and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
