Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jon Snow! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Tarja Halkonen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Snow changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Johns looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Snow wants to lay and pray for a moment but Johns keeps working. Johns is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Snow's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Johns is trying is best to control the position here. Johns manages to escape and get back to his feet! Snow throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Johns was covering up waiting for the punch and Snow finishes the takedown easily into guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Johns is looking to stand up but Snow isn't so interested in that idea. Johns looking to hit a scissor sweep but Snow is one step ahead there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Snow stands and throws Johns's legs to the side, diving into side control. Johns is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Snow is controlling him well. Snow tries to advance position but instead Johns slips a leg back in to half guard. Johns is trying to stand back up but Snow is controlling him

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Johns keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Johns tries to get to full guard but Snow has control of the leg. The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. A combination from Snow does no damage. Johns throws a quick counter head kick but Snow was just out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Snow connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Snow tries to clinch up but Johns circles away and keeps his distance. Johns went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Johns keeps the fight on the outside. Snow throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Johns tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Snow is in Johns's guard. Johns is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Johns controlling the position. Snow trying to control the position from guard on top but Johns is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Snow has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Johns is proving hard to escape from.

Johns wants to sweep here but Snow controlling him for the moment. Johns is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Johns wants to sweep but no luck.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Snow tries to clinch but Johns moves out of range. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Snow manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Johns on his heels. He'll look to pass Johns's guard now, I'm sure. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Snow accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jon Snow dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Snow is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Johns. Tyson Johns is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Johns closes the distance and pushes Snow back into the cage. Snow pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Johns really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Snow closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Johns quickly recovers to half guard. Snow has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Snow is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Johns avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Snow. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Johns is trying to control but can't.
Snow is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's one minute gone in the round. Johns is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Snow's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Snow's back! Johns is persistently looking for the submission but Snow is defending it well.
Johns just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Snow is trapped and Johns is scoring with shots to the head and body. Johns lands a shot to the head. Snow is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Snow preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Johns.

Snow is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Snow trying to control the hands but Johns breaks the grip. Tyson Johns overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Johns cracks Snow with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Snow from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Snow is trapped and Johns is scoring with shots to the head and body. Snow tries to escape but Johns has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Snow is trying to remain composed but Johns is hammering down strikes to the side of his head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Johns scores with punches and elbows. Snow tries to escape the position.
Johns looking to break Snow's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Snow remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Johns will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johns lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Snow grimaces as he takes a shot to the body. Johns lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Snow hold on?!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Johns lands a punch to the side of the head from the back. Johns has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Snow has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Snow looks to land a body kick but Johns moved away. As Snow looks to move away, Johns throws a big counter combo but Snow just gets out of the way. Snow gets a takedown into half guard. Johns pushes Snow off and gets back to his feet. Snow swings for the body but Johns moves out of range.

Johns seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Johns keeps the fight on the outside. Snow scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Johns manages to get to full guard.
Snow takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johns is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Snow trying to control but Johns postures up.

Snow is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Johns landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Johns decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Johns gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Snow to score an easy takedown into full guard. Johns looking to sweep here. That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Snow is controlling Johns's posture. Snow is continuing to stall. Johns chips away with some ground and pound. Snow is trying to hold Johns in close to prevent damage but Johns has managed to pass into half guard.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Snow is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Johns scores with a couple of nice shots. Snow makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Snow throws a body shot but no joy.
