Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Kyle Cobra! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Newbie Guide! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Sam Margolis and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cobra rushes Guide and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Cobra tries to throw a body punch but Guide avoids it by throwing Cobra back against the cage. Guide blocks an uppercut.
Cobra drops down looking for an ankle pick but Guide pulls his leg out and moves away.
Cobra bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Guide defending against the ground and pound. Guide dodges the ground and pound from Cobra. Guide really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cobra. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Cobra tries to score with some ground and pound. Guide controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Cobra is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Guide will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Cobra definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. That's one minute gone in the round. Cobra working away. Cobra trying to control the action but Guide is working from the bottom. Guide can't do much from the bottom here. Cobra throws a strike aimed at the side of Guide's head but Guide avoids it well. Cobra in the domination position with Guide hanging on. Guide dodges the ground and pound from Cobra. Cobra working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Cobra creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Guide sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. The ground and pound from Cobra seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Guide is not content to let Cobra control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cobra tries to score with some ground and pound. Guide controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Guide struggling a bit here. Cobra trying to control the action but Guide is working from the bottom. Cobra has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Guide! Cobra looking to finish with strikes here!

Guide tries to hold on but Cobra postures up. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Guide can do anything to dispel that myth. The referee warns Guide that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
It looks like Newbie Guide has been cut.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cobra thowing shots but they're missing. Cobra unloading with bombs! Guide holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Cobra tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Cobra scoring with strikes but Guide is staying in there. Guide tries to lock up and control but Cobra gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Cobra tries to control but Guide wriggling away. Guide blocking the ground and pound. Cobra avoids the attempt from Guide to control. Poor strikes thrown by Cobra there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Guide tries to hold on but Cobra pushes him away. Cobra is landing with some decent strikes but Guide is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
The cut above Newbie Guide's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Cobra sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! The referee warns Guide that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Newbie Guide's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Newbie Guide's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Kyle Cobra! Kyle Cobra is the new super heavyweight champion! A very excited looking Kyle Cobra made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
