Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Madik MBaku (ranked 1025 p4p, 130 weight class) and Kill Phil (ranked 4010 p4p, 363 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Madik MBaku! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kill Phil! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Colin Fotheringham and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! MBaku drives through with a takedown into guard. Phil keeping moving, preventing MBaku from controlling successfully. MBaku throwing strikes but missing. MBaku postures up in Phil's guard and throws a big left but Phil blocks it. Phil is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Phil utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. MBaku wants to control from the top but Phil keeps moving. MBaku pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Phil is keeping the position for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. MBaku working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. MBaku trying to control the position from guard on top but Phil is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. MBaku is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Phil is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Phil has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but MBaku can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Phil trying to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. MBaku works a leg free and moves into half guard. MBaku is trying to work for a kimura but Phil is defending well.
Phil looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Phil is trying to maintain the position but MBaku is very close to passing his half guard. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. MBaku landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Phil wants to control but MBaku is keeping busy and won't allow it. Phil is refusing to be controlled, as MBaku sits in half guard. MBaku not landing any meaningful shots this time. Phil is staying active underneath MBaku, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Phil is trying to maintain the position but MBaku is very close to passing his half guard. MBaku is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Phil has managed to free his arm - good work. MBaku wants to lay and pray for a moment but Phil keeps working. MBaku definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Phil has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. MBaku is working away from the top position though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. MBaku wants to take a breather but Phil is having none of it. Phil is defending against the submission attempts here by MBaku.
MBaku trying to control from half guard but Phil is working away. MBaku is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Phil has managed to free his arm - good work. Phil wants to get back to full guard. MBaku wants to work for an arm triangle but Phil is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
MBaku is keen to just control but Phil is a slippery customer. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. MBaku drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. MBaku trying to control the action but Phil is working from the bottom. Phil tries to improve position but can't. Phil manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Phil looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Phil tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Phil keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. MBaku has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Phil defend it? MBaku steps over the head and cranks it - Phil is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for MBaku!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Madik MBaku! Madik MBaku very nearly forgot to thank Ma Balls Is Hot Clothing amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
