Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Oenomaus Doctore!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Jeremy Old Fart!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Glass and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Old Fart throws a head kick that misses.
Doctore throws a shot to the body.
Doctore rushes Old Fart and presses him up against the cage.
Doctore manages to break the clinch.
Doctore moves into the clinch.
Doctore breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Doctore fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Old Fart, pushing him back against the cage.
Old Fart is looking to take this one to the mat.
Doctore prevents the takedown attempt.
Doctore's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Old Fart fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Oenomaus Doctore has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeremy Old Fart.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Doctore gets a clinch.
Doctore manages to break the clinch.
Old Fart fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Doctore manages to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Doctore lands a glancing blow to the side of Old Fart's head.
Doctore fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Old Fart, pushing him back against the cage.
Doctore pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Doctore wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Doctore! Old Fart is out on his feet! Doctore rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Old Fart is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Old Fart is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Oenomaus Doctore!
