Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Peter Gill (ranked 4694 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobbery Jenkins (ranked 4741 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Peter Gill!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Bobbery Jenkins!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, William Gold and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gill tries to clinch there but Jenkins circles away.
Jenkins ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gill moves away.

Gill throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Jenkins tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Gill is in Jenkins's guard.
Jenkins is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Gill really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Gill slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Gill trying to control but Jenkins is working from the bottom.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jenkins can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Gill controls the pace.
Jenkins keeping moving, preventing Gill from controlling successfully.

Jenkins working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gill doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gill manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Gill not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Jenkins looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Jenkins is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Gill advances to half guard.
Jenkins wants to improve his position but Gill is controlling well.
Gill trying to control the action but Jenkins is working from the bottom.
Gill not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Gill with the ground and pound but Jenkins uses the opportunity to regain guard.

Gill got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jenkins has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gill has managed to get both his arms back between Jenkins's legs - danger averted.

Gill drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gill jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Gill controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Jenkins looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Gill has picked Jenkins up and slammed him! Jenkins can't keep hold of the triangle and Gill manages to pass to side control!
Jenkins is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Gill's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Jenkins wants to control but Gill is keeping busy.
Jenkins gets back to full guard.

Jenkins is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Gill stands up from Jenkins's guard - Gill perhaps looking for a knockout.
Gill misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jenkins tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gill was well out of range. Poor timing from Jenkins.
Gill tries a head kick but it misses.
Jenkins lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Gill drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Gill controlling from side mount.
Gill sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Jenkins is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Gill remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Gill wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jenkins keeps working.

Gill is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Jenkins has escaped the position, nice work there.
Gill is breathing heavily.
Jenkins tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Jenkins can't do much from the bottom here.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Gill is looking to clinch but Jenkins is avoiding it.

Gill gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Jenkins postures up in Gill's guard and throws a big left but Gill blocks it.

A close second round but Bobbery Jenkins will probably get the nod - 10:9.

Gill shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Jenkins wants to sweep here but Gill controlling him for the moment.

Jenkins had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Gill defends it easily.

Well, if Gill is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Jenkins is pressing down on Gill's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Gill stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jenkins swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Gill trying to control the action but Jenkins is working from the bottom.
Gill content to control rather than advance.
Jenkins taking some punishment here, with Gill in his half guard.
Gill prevents Jenkins from improving his position.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Gill seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jenkins does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Gill is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Jenkins can do to turn this around?
Gill stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Gill wants it to stay on the feet.

Gill frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Gill can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jenkins is looking to escape.
