Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Raul Odraude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robero Tejada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Raul Odraude! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Robero Tejada! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Igor Prikhodko and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tejada scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Odraude is trying to get back to full guard. Odraude preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Tejada looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Tejada in particular looking to stall. Odraude is trying to maintain the position but Tejada is very close to passing his half guard. Odraude knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tejada on the ground. Tejada seems to be working for a kimura but Odraude defends the submission attempt. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tejada looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Tejada frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Tejada postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Odraude looks a forlorn figure.
Odraude wants to hold on but Tejada pushes him away. Tejada controlling the position easily from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tejada raining down shots from the mount! Tejada landing strikes from the mount. Tejada looks gassed! Tejada controlling the pace for now. Tejada's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Tejada avoids the attempt from Odraude to control. Tejada takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Odraude manages to regain half guard. Good work. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Tejada perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Robero Tejada dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Odraude lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Tejada scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Odraude is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Tejada is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Tejada jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Odraude manages to avoid the submission attempt. Odraude wants to control but Tejada postures up. Tejada wants to control but Odraude is keeping him busy. You can see the frustration on Odraude's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Odraude tries to bench press Tejada off him but Tejada keeps the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tejada tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Odraude tries to buck Tejada off but Tejada is having none of it. Tejada trying to control the action but Odraude is working from the bottom.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Odraude misses with a takedown and Tejada counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Tejada is looking for a kimura but Odraude is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Tejada to get the leverage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tejada frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Tejada gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Excellent takedown into side control there by Tejada. Odraude is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Tejada decides to stand up, so the ref orders Odraude to his feet. Odraude with a poor takedown and Tejada counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Tejada. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Tejada is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Odraude wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Tejada is now in half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Tejada in particular looking to stall. Odraude wants to control but Tejada is keeping busy.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Odraude tries to reverse the position but Tejada maintains control. Tejada lands a heavy elbow. Odraude is looking to get to half guard. Tejada is in the full mount, landing strikes. Odraude really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Tejada is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Odraude is in real trouble.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Tejada has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Odraude! Can he survive? No! He's out! Tejada gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
