Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mac Dre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carl Jordam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dre tries for a takedown but Jordam sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Dre moves out of range of the body kick.
Jordam looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Jordam fails to land with a series of punches.
Jordam misses with a few strikes there.

Jordam throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Dre shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jordam pinned against the cage. Jordam gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Jordam throws a low kick, looking for Dre's leg but Dre calmly moves out of range.
Dre will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Jordam really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dre. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dre thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jordam's head.
Dre is nestled in close to Jordam, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Dre looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jordam with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Jordam is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

Dre wants to work for an arm triangle but Jordam is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Jordam tries to lock up and control but Dre gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Jordam might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Dre kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Jordam looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Dre! Submission of the night perhaps?
