Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between DeMar DeRozan (ranked 3602 p4p, 407 weight class) and Patty O Reilly (ranked 3070 p4p, 358 weight class). DeMar DeRozan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - O Reilly throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
DeRozan feinted there with a counter leg kick.
DeRozan scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
DeRozan feints and then cracks O Reilly's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow O Reilly down.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that O Reilly has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
