Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Abdul Rahman!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Jonathan Paton and Chad Campbell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Red drives through and clinches with Rahman against the cage.
Red is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Rahman pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Red tries to pull guard but Rahman holds him up against the cage and eventually Red drops back down to his feet.
Rahman lands a body punch in the clinch.
Red wants to take the fight to the mat but Rahman manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kurt Red. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rahman lands a shot to the body.
Rahman lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Red is trying to break free.
Rahman stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Rahman gets underhooks to prevent Red's takedown attempt.

Red tries to break the clinch but Rahman is controlling the position.

Rahman breaks from the clinch.
Rahman scores with a one two! Red had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

It looks like Kurt Red has been cut.
Red darts in looking for a takedown but Rahman gets double underhooks and turns Red into the cage.
Red sets himself, and Rahman steps forward looking for the clinch! Red avoids it this time.
Rahman swats away the attempt to clinch by Red.
Rahman lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Rahman drops Red with a beautiful combination! Red stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Rahman is looking for the KO!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Red gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Rahman gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
