The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tomas looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Tomas shoots in for a takedown but Brunswick shows good takedown defense.

It looks like Jure Tomas has been cut.
Tomas shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Brunswick but Brunswick pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jure Tomas. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nice takedown defense from Brunswick. No joy for Tomas on that attempt.
Brunswick looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Tomas throws a body shot but no joy.
Tomas takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Tomas shoots for a double leg takedown but Brunswick sprawls well. He's pushed Tomas's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Brunswick is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Brunswick fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Tomas, pushing him back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brunswick lands a right hand that snaps the head of Tomas backwards.
Oh Tomas is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Brunswick throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Tomas seems to have got his legs back now.
Tomas is breathing heavily.

Still in the clinch, Brunswick scores with a nice short uppercut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Brunswick creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

A right handed body shot lands from Brunswick.

Brunswick lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Tomas to his knees! Brunswick keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
