Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Miro Tynkkynen (ranked 743 p4p, 111 weight class) and Anthony Romeo (ranked 450 p4p, 65 weight class). Tynkkynen comes to the cage accompanied by Cow herd - Fields. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Miro Tynkkynen! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Anthony Romeo! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Sergei Dronov and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tynkkynen closes the distance and clinches. Tynkkynen using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Romeo has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Romeo manages to break the clinch.
Tynkkynen rushes Romeo and presses him up against the cage. Tynkkynen tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Romeo creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Tynkkynen lands a damaging elbow.
It looks like Anthony Romeo has been cut. Romeo is trying to break the clinch but Tynkkynen is controlling him. Romeo's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Romeo manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Tynkkynen misses with a punch to the body.
Romeo has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Tynkkynen seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Romeo can turn it around.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tynkkynen keeps control of Romeo as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Tynkkynen misses with a hook from the clinch. Tynkkynen is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Romeo is defending well for now. Tynkkynen tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Romeo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Tynkkynen throws a lazy head kick and Romeo connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Tynkkynen closes the distance looking to clinch and Romeo counters with a nice right hand that sends Tynkkynen toppling to the canvas! Tynkkynen scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Romeo finish him?! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tynkkynen darts in trying to clinch and Romeo counters with a huge left! Tynkkynen is in big trouble! He's backing up but Romeo isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Tynkkynen from any more damage. A dominating finish by Romeo!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Anthony Romeo! Anthony Romeo is the new light heavyweight champion! An out of breath Anthony Romeo thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career. In defeat, Miro Tynkkynen stepped up to the mic, saying 'Sorry dad, next fight will be better.. I promise'.
