Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Fox (ranked 5619 p4p, 410 weight class) and Jeronimo Seagal (ranked 23913 p4p, 488 weight class). Fox comes to the cage accompanied by Ice Ice Baby, Vanilla Ice. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jim Fox!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jeronimo Seagal!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fox misses with a head kick.
Seagal ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Seagal only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Seagal connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Fox momentarily.
Seagal scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Seagal scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Fox drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Fox tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A lull in the action here.

Fox wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Seagal, who protects the arm well.

Fox works to advance to full mount. Seagal defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Fox pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Seagal is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fox lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Fox won't let Seagal get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Fox working for a submission but Seagal is keeping him at bay.
Fox lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Seagal hang on?

Fox is working for a guillotine from mount but Seagal frees his head quite easily.

Fox looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fox controlling from the full mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jim Fox dominated that round.
That's time! Fox's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Seagal throws a combination that misses

and Fox counters by clinching up.
Seagal can't find room to land a body shot as Fox controls the action.
Fox goes for a takedown in the clinch but Seagal prevents it.
Fox is stalling here.
Seagal lands a good knee to the midsection. Fox won't want to take too many of those.
Seagal tries to break free but Fox pushes him back against the cage.
Fox is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Seagal is defending well for now.
Fox scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Seagal tries to circle away but Fox has him pinned against the cage.
Fox avoiding damage as Seagal throws knees to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nice body punch from Fox.

Seagal is fighting off a takedown attempt but Fox is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Seagal to the mat. Seagal regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Seagal is looking to stand up but Fox isn't so interested in that idea.

Fox trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Fox is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Seagal is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Nice defenses there by Fox.
Seagal loads up on a big right hand but Fox slips the punch.
Fox avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Fox delivers a nice body kick.
Seagal throws a right hand that Fox ducks under and follows up with a left that Fox also avoids with ease.

Fox gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Fox has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Seagal is trying to keep an underhook but Fox manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Seagal tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Fox manages to move to mount!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Fox tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Fox lands a couple of good shots and Seagal has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

Fox is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Seagal can do to turn this around?

Fox has got one arm under Seagal's chin. This could be trouble... Seagal trying to control the other hand but Fox gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Seagal has tapped out! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jim Fox!
Jim Fox looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'Pick yourself up and dust yourself off old chap!'.
